I began researching a career as a Journalist during college where I studied print and digital media production (Journalism), later on starting a BA degree in Journalism which involves researching media, feature writing and photojournalism. During this time I quickly understood what was expected and necessary to make it in this industry. Starting with developing my skills. I produced articles and audio-visual content for college assignments one of which was featured in a magazine commissioned by the Hertfordshire constabulary on Knife crime prevention.

With a keen interest lying in three areas including the humanities, travel and socio-economic issues, I set out to look for stories. Two stories which are published here on this website were of high interest to me, firstly the Rhianna Drive project and the IOHR protest at the Iranian Embassy in London. Both of these stories showcase my skills in investigative Journalism and photojournalism. During my investigation of the IOHR protest I was able to reach out and have a private interview with the chair of the organisation allowing me to get an experience of reporting live from the scene. Other projects i have worked on where I've developed communication, time management and flexibility skills inlcude an interview with a local councillor in my constituency and an interview with Jacques Peretti, an investigative reporter on the topic of how young people can get into Journalism.
